  • 12 Large prawns, peeled and deveined
  • ½ tsp White pepper
  • 30 g Bread crumbs
  • 30 g White sesame
  • 20 g Black sesame
  • 50 g Flour
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • Oil for deep frying

Nutritional tips

Sesame seed is an excellent source of iron and magnesium. Iron is needed for red blood cell production whereby magnesium promotes calcium absorption.

Steps

Marinate prawns with Hellmann’s Roasted Sesame and pepper for 30 minutes.

For the dipping sauce, mix all ingredients until well combined. Set aside.

In a bowl, mix bread crumbs, white and black sesame together.

Coat the prawns with flour, followed by egg and bread crumbs mixture.

Heat up oil in frying pan and deep fry prawns until golden brown. Drain and place onto serving plate. Serve with dipping sauce.
