For filling:

  • 100 g Minced chicken meat
  • 20 g Onion, minced
  • 40 g Green apples, finely chopped
  • 20 g Carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Corn flour
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Oyster sauce
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

For breading:

  • 60 g Corn flour
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 60 g Bread crumb
  • 40 g Almond silver

For garnishing:

  • Romaine lettuce leaves, carrot and green apple slices

Nutritional tips

Hellmann’s Roasted Sesame dressing goes well with fried foods as well as salad. Sesame seed is an excellent source of iron and magnesium. Iron is needed for red blood cell production whereby magnesium promotes calcium absorption.

Steps

For chicken wings, remove 2 bones in the middle of the wing joint. Rinse, pat dry and marinate with Knorr Chicken Cube, pepper, soy sauce and sesame oil for 30 minutes.

For filling, mix all the ingredients until well combined. Transfer the filling into a piping bag and pipe the filling into the cavity of the chicken wings. Seal with toothpick.

Coat stuffed chicken wings with corn flour, followed by dip into the egg mixture and coat with breadcrumbs and almond. Set aside.

Heat up oil in a frying pan and deep fry stuffed chicken wings until golden browned. Dish up, garnish and serve with Hellmann’s Roasted Sesame Dressing.
